Lines: 14 Before being too eager to cut back more on welfare, remember that it's probably worth the investment to make sure the poor don't get unhappy enough to do something about their plight. In history, the poor sometimes became noticeably irritated in rather violent and unpredictable ways when things got bad enough. If they happen to gain any measure of control in these situations they are rather unmoved by libertarian arguments from their perceived former oppressors.
