Yea, right.  You sound like an old southern plantation owner,

"Them darkies got it good right here.  I feed'em, give'em clothes, a place

You also make a good point about needing stategic metals for our military/
industrial complex.  If they couldn't force those people to work the mines
hundreds of miles from their homes and families, we might run out of jets.
