Second of all, I have written a somewhat bizarrre GO program that does it move evaluation based on the evaluation of a matrix of cellular automata. However; this program still has bugs in it, is written in Pascal (heavy sigh), and was created mostly as a research tool into the abilities of cellular automatons to 'learn'. If anyone is interested in having the source (as is, unfortunately, I am quite busy between both school and work), I can arrange to e-mail it out over the net. If enough people are interested, I may even fix up the bugs myself, and POST the thing (in C even). If anyone has any interesting thoughts about the properties (empirical or theoretical) of cellular automata, I would be most interested in reading them (Hmmmmmm perhaps I should cross-post to net.math? net.cog-eng?) Richard Rush - Just another Jesus freak in computer science decvax!cwruecmp!cwrudg!rush P.S. if someone wants to do a port to C and fix the bugs I'd be real happy to provide him (or her) with source.
