Texas, Astronomy, Austin, TX Lines: 16 Keywords: This should be simple but... I am a new LaTeX user and have what should be a dumb question but I cannot figure out from reading the manual. I am using a document type of article and within that I am use a list type of verse. This is indenting things about 0.4 inch. How do I change the value of the leftmargin of the indented stuff. I tried putting "\leftmargin 0.75in" right after the "\begin{verse}" and that didn't appear to do anything. I thought, from the figure on page 113 of the manual, that this would be what I should do. So, how do I make this change for verse or any other of the display environments? Please reply by e-mail. Thanks in advance. -- Anita Cochran uucp: {noao, ut-sally, ut-ngp}!utastro!anita arpa: anita@astro.as.utexas.edu snail: Astronomy Dept., The Univ. of Texas, Austin, TX, 78712 at&t: (512) 471-1471
