Makes me feel like I am getting an ulcer. Neither Tylenol or aspirin affects me like that. When I take an ibuprofen, I take it along with a Tums. Tums seems to be the most effective antacid for me with ibuprofen. Have tried Gelusil Plus, Mylanta, Mylanta II, Gaviscon, Maalox. Was using ibuprofen daily for about a year following a serious auto wreck. It was hard to get off of it. Each time I tried I would have aches and pains and stiffness. I felt it was some kind of "rebound" effect.
