While looking for my first job, one possible employer totally delighted me by offering me a job the *same day* as my interview (subject to checking out my references.) I accepted. They never did get around to asking for a transcript. And, after your first job, it's ancient history - nobody asks for it! (now that I'm on the other side of the interviewing, I just inquire "what was school like for you?", and then I *listen* to the person.
