In the main output room (the "Ready Room") at Princeton, there is one line printer (the "Ready Printer") open for users to go get their own output. Users are supposed to separate all jobs that are attached to theirs and stack them neatly on the table, but some people fail to separate the jobs, making it hard to find the right output. The other printers are in a restricted area, and the operators put the output in the users' bins (either private bins, or public bins designated by the first letter of the user's last name). I've never heard anyone complain about her or his output being stolen (but then, what do I know?), but the output sometimes spills onto the floor and gets trampled on during times of heavy use.
