Dear Sir, When I posted this article I didnot mention that anything about not participating in solving these problems. Given a chance I would like to participate in any venture directed towards the improvement of our country. To make such a statement I presume a similar commitment in you too. About your second point, there is no use in accepting things as it is. It may be a well-rooted problem but I think we, in our part, should be constantly critisizing and fighting against corruption. I think no developed country has ever advanced in history without noticing and reforming (at least to a manageble extent) the corruptions (Rip-offs) present in their country. If some of the problems well rooted in the olden days society like Untouchability, Widow and Wife burning, Dowry etc., could be removed to a great extent by social reformers like Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Swami Dayanand Sarawathi and lot others, I believe this can be done too. I donot deny that a lot of brains are working at this problem, but I find no reason why we should not discuss these things in the NET. I personally feel this aspect will only help us to get a more practical and comprehensive picture about India. I am also very concerned and patriotic about India and therefore there is no need for you to be too defensive about our country. Whatever may be the improvement in the field of Agriculture, Industry or even HI-TECH, I feel that CORRUPTION will be a stumbling block for its IDEAL growth and development. I would like to site and I will if situation demands of the places where corruption is present. I donot want to do it since I feel that most of us would have encountered it one way or the other, to which we are turning a deaf ear now. So my dear friend this was not just written to while away a few minutes but to really get to know more about this aspect or face of India. To conclude, personally I am not ashamed to discuss this matter with anybody and constuctively criticize on it since it broadens the knowledge and brings the different realities into the open.
