If nice guys really are seen as undesirable wimps, then it's not going to do us much good to try to score points off Matt for having the emotional honesty to admit to his pain, frustration, and bitterness. > > For what it's worth, I have NEVER met a woman who wanted to be abused in > the manner you described. There are too few slimes and too many nice guys who would never abuse someone deliberately or negligently for that to be sheer chance. If someone gets hurt once, they didn't know any better. If they get abused twice, they shoulda known better. If they get abused in the same way three times, then they are getting something out of it that keeps them going back for more. -- ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ Tom Chapin @ AT&T-RM, Hickory Ridge Conference Centre, Lisle, IL (312) 971-5652 & (312) 960-0481 {ihnp4,allegra}!hrcca!tjc Sitting quietly, doing nothing, Spring comes, and the grass grows by itself.
