In a long ago place (Aggieland) and a far away time, I asked a girl out by cutting up my Sunday comics, and forming a `ransom note'---with the characters as well as the text. You'd be surprised how relevant some of the quotes can be, and some cut and paste can make it quite humorous. We went out, but despite the magical invitation, nothing really came of it.
