College educated women have access to a higher quality of men, have interests that get them involved with other men, and in general "circulate" more. Many less educated women go into fields where they are working with other women. It would be interesting to see what the figures are for women in general. I would guess that women in general still have a better chance than the Harvard-Yale study shows, but lower than the Moore study shows. My guess is also that co-habitation rather than marriage is more common among older women due to the low priority of raising children. Not being married does have certain advantages for some people. People recieving Social Security actually pay a penalty for being married. I think it was "People" that showed several single famous women, and said their chances of marriage were slim, yet each of those women were involved in some sort of marriage-like relationship. Many were involved with younger men. Rex B.
