Others are lies either way. There *are* times that you have to stand up for what's right or for what's yours or ... and there are a *few* times when you'd better not show fear or weakness. But just a few. More often, you just have to put that need aside for later. Go through with it now, and cry when you get offstage, or quiver when you're back in your own safe home. These are skills, and should not be turned into role demands.
