Problem is, many parishes have grown too large. Look for one higher up the Liberal Behaviour > scale, which I have just invented: > ... > Roman Catholic (with young priest) > ... > Roman Catholic (older priest) > Baptist > Mormon Careful! I used to belong to a parish that sponsored regular dances, etc. The pastor was a monsignior who probably was six years beyond retirement! Not to say that there is not a new attitude among some of the younger priests- or, more accurately, that priests are being recruited from people with different ideas. My brother's service frat had a graduation dinner where the diplomas and awards were actually handed out by the two advisors. One of these was a 50+ year old assistant librarian. The other was a campus priest who also happened to be a PhD. student. Every graduate, male and female, got a whole set of hugs, and an occasional kiss! I think that the old monsignior might not have approved of that. One word, though. Many of us Catholics really *do* subscribe to some or all of the Church's views on matters of sex and family. Be *very* sure of what you are looking for and prepared to accept if you have romance in mind! -- from Mole End Mark Terribile (scrape .. dig ) mtx5b!mat (Please mail to mtx5b!mat, NOT mtx5a! mat, or to mtx5a!mtx5b!mat) (mtx5b!mole-end!mat will also reach me) ,.. .,, ,,, ..,***_*.
