Sorry for posting this publicly, as I am sure that Marty is the only one to whom this appropriately addressed, (Wanna buy some land in Florida??) but it seems all too popular to take a comment in or out of context from the Bible, twist its meaning to justify any particular view, and then claim that the Bible supports that view. The Bible is very clear that murder is against God's will. The Bible also is clear enough that induced abortion does constitute murder. On the other hand, the inhabitants of Canaan were not living according to God's will. God dinna like that, and He gave the land back to the Israelites. It's (in an oversimplified way) something like this: God let everyone know what the Law was/is. Some chose not to play along by the rules. They risk getting blasted away, just as does anyone who does not do as God says, today. Change your attitude, and there's a whole new light on the situation. This discussion now could quickly turn to What God Says, and Why Should We Listen. But here, now, I don't really care what you believe. It won't change the facts of what's gonna happen; it won't make abortion _right_. Paul D. Obeda
