I just want to point out that according to the papers I read
(the SF Chronicle), the terrorists responsible for the recent
bombings are *Maronite Christians* who oppose the 
Gemayel regime. Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, the prisoner
who is the primary focus of their demands is certainly a
Maronite and so are his 2 brothers who are the prime French
suspects.
