    Recently there was a spate of articles  about Daniloff and  Zakha-
rov.  I said the source of the problem  was  a certain Edward Lee Fos-
ter, a CIA man who defected to the USSR [a historic first] a few  days
before Zakharov was grabbed
    Unless I've screwed up again, the guy's name is Edward Lee HOWARD,
not Foster.  That's the one who went on Soviet TV and denounced  Dani-
loff as a spy, purportedly with inside knowledge.
    I apologize for being confused, and passing it along.
