I am looking for some help.  I misplaced my manual for Rogue.
How do stand on something without picking it up.  I drop the
scare monster scroll like I am supposed to but I keep getting
killed by this #$%$%$# troll.  I thought it was shift but that
doesn't work.  Should I be using the "Alter." key or there some-
thing else I should be doing so that I don't get killed.
