 I have Wendin UNIX, XTC editor, and opeating systems tool kit,
 but really havn't worked with them too much.  The UNIX system
 seems pretty good, and it is multiuser/tasking on a PC. I also
 like the XTC editor, and haven't done much more than read the 
 manual on the OSTK.  mainly because I don't have the right
 compiler.  You need to have the microsoft C V3.0 compiler or
 equivalent or the source won't do you much good.  Some random
 comments on Wendin UNIX:
 -if you are used to memory resident programs, forget it.
  none of them work under unix.
 -You will need an editor to run under this unix. wordstar won't
 work, XTC works great.
 -It will run two terminals and the main console. It is slow on a
 PC and I would reccommend an AT type machine to run it.
 - The terminals will have to use IBM editor that comes with DOS.
 XTC won't work because it does direct screen writes.  If you can
 find an editor that runs out the serial port you will be better off.
 -It does do what it claims. cron, at, and all that stuff works
 as does background.
 -the shell is sh not csh.
 -lpr assumes a serial printer. This is the worst problem in my
 opinion since the PC has a parallel printer port standard.

 Hope this helps.  For the price I am more than satisfied with 
 their products.
