Berch) Organization: Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, Livermore CA Lines: 17 After running a particular application, quitting normally, and attempting to launch it again from the Finder, I get the message "This application is already open or is missing. Try again." What does this mean? It is not mentioned in any manual that I have. The application is obviously not "missing", nor is it already open (e.g., with Switcher or Servant). The condition is cured only by rebooting. I'm using System 3.1 (supplied by GCC; I can't get later versions to work with my drive) and Finder 5.2 on a MacPlus with a HyperDrive 20. Thanks in advance for any information. Michael C. Berch ARPA: (for now) mcb@lll-crg.arpa UUCP: ...!lll-lcc!styx!mcb ...!lll-crg!styx!mcb ...!ihnp4!styx!mcb
