subject: Knowledge representation and Sowa's conceptual graphs



A number of us at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (IKBS section)
have become interested in Sowa's approach to knowledge representation,
which is based on conceptual graphs. (see Clancey's review in AI 27, 
1985, Fox, Nature 310, 1984). We believe it to be a particular powerful
and useful approach to KR and we are currently currently implementing
some of his ideas.

We would like to contact any other workers in this field
and exchanging ideas on Sowa's approach. Anyone interested should
contact me at Rutherford.
