We have set up some forms (also a form LANDSCAPE) which use set-up modules from the device control library. A reset module is defined for the queue, too. During the first iteration of the installation of the queue we also had some problems with blank pages. Sometimes they were caused by the set-up modules, sometimes they were caused by the reset module. (We do not understand why the symbiont should ever decide on its own to print a formfeed after having processed a module from the device control library. If a formfeed is needed it could be inserted in the module.) We could prevent printing of blank pages by: 1) Start the reset module with a formfeed. (This suppressed the formfeed after the reset module!) 2) Do not use the 8-bit CSI character to set up attributes of the printer, use the equivalent escape sequence. (This suppressed the formfeed after the set-up modules.) Finally, it turned out to be necessary to end all modules with a carriage-return character in order to prevent truncation of the first line of the print job. F.Z.
