The seven gateways between the Arpanet and the Milnet were loaded with
version 1008.1 software yesterday afternoon(10/2).  The most important
change is the increase from 150 to 300 in the number of networks handled
by the routing module.  Several other changes were made to improve the
behavior of the gateways in the face of severe network congestion.
The 300-network software is (has been) running in all of the EGP
servers.
