I know that it was mentioned before, but I think that
the information here is very valuable to all
gun owners and perhaps should be extracted
and disseminated in this group.

Turns out that the Agnos bill was defeated
after the NRA was embarrassed into removing
support for it.  Another "silly mistake,"
for which the NRA is infamous.
