The recipes in this newsgroup are set up for processing with troff or nroff
using some special recipe macros. Those macros, and other software that makes
it easy to keep and process the recipes, are posted to this newsgroup once
each month on the 28th with a distribution of "na" and in months 3, 6, 9, and
12 with a worldwide distribution. If you are in North America but don't
receive the monthly software posting, then there is a bug in your site's "na"
distribution feed (this bug seems to be rampant inside AT&T).

The archive of past recipes is more than a megabyte, and is therefore not
easily available to newcomers. One of these months I am going to get around
to setting up an archive server, but for now if you need back issues, you
should check with other mod.recipes readers who are near you on the network.
