Because of floorspace limitations we would like to do this with a workstation, such as MicroVAX or Sun (we have many of these). We are currently running our gateways on a number of machines, all used for other things. We want to interface with ethernet (local and internet), usenet, bitnet, csnet, and DECnet. Any and all suggestions will be useful, particularly from anyone who has done something similar. P L E A S E reply by mail, as our feed is not very reliable and I suspect that there will be many conflicting opinions. I will sumarize. ...ihnp4!seismo!rochester!steinmetz!davidsen davidsen@ge-crd.ARPA -- -bill davidsen seismo!rochester!steinmetz!--\ / \ ihnp4! unirot ------------->---> crdos1!davidsen \ / chinet! ---------------------/ (davidsen@ge-crd.ARPA) "Stupidity, like virtue, is its own reward"
