A friend of mine is trying to bring up GNU Emacs on

        Xenix 3.2 on an Altos 2086

but is having a lot of trouble, because it seems that the
distribution he has has never been tailored for Xenix/Altos.

Has anyone done this before, and if so could you please send
me any configuration/setup files necessary?
