Summary: 

I would be interested in some basic information or references on
"hidden line" problems that anyone here could provide to me. I
would prefer mail as I don't read the group regularly and I would
expect that the kind of basic info I'm looking for would not 
interest most regular readers (on this I might be wrong, of course...)
