"C" became a standard because of AT&T, it seems that Modula-2 has everything from "C" that it needs plus the readability that cobol users have been bitching about. Why hasn't more commercial packages been written in Modula-2? I mean is Modula-2 destined to the way of APL? I do nothing but "C" & cobol, alright assembly too, and I would like to do some projects in Modula-2, but how do you convince an old IBM'er(my boss) that Modula-2 is the way to go? I had enough trouble getting "C" used here! I'm tired of wimpy people and wimpy languages, either the Modula-2 users become fanatical or I am going request the shutdown of this news group because of lack of interest! Come'on knock this variable off my shoulder! cy {dj3b1,ihnp4}!killer!cy Brown sugar isn't sweet enough, add some honey.
