Message-ID: <12451@vuwcomp.UUCP> Date: Mon, 20-Oct-86 20:20:31 EST Article-I.D.: vuwcomp.12451 Posted: Mon Oct 20 20:20:31 1986 Date-Received: Sun, 26-Oct-86 02:17:10 EST Organization: Comp Sci, Victoria Univ, Wellington, New Zealand Lines: 15 Summary: Which is best? I have seen the smail program mentioned quite a few times recently. We do not have smail, and I am wondering if I should try to obtain it. We run sendmail, with uumail 3.0 as our uucp mailer. Could someone please tell me what smail does differently from uumail, and why one might be prefered over the other. Replies by email to the uucp path below would be prefered (this is *not* the same as the Path: header). If others are interested in hearing what I find out, email to me, and I will summarise to them. -- Duncan McEwan ACSnet : duncan@vuwcomp.nz UUCP : "...!seismo!ubc-vision!calgary!vuwcomp!duncan" "You can always tell when politicians lie ... their lips move!" - Max Headroom
