These can be created with 'Double-Menu-Requestors' (DMRs), or by putting up requestors on mouse clicks (releases), using RMBTRAP. DMRs require a double-click to appear, RMBTRAP allows you to use the right button when it's not on the menu line for your own nefarious purposes.
