All the Elephant brand black diskette that I've seen have been
1s2d, and thus might not be wise to use in the amiga.  If they
haven't polished the back side, that might be what is making the
drive sing.

Somebody sold one of our IBM-portable users some black diskettes
that came in a yellow box marked, "Elephant 1s2d".  Needless to
say, they did not work out very well, even in the IBM.
