No one I've ever heard of has a 256K machine; all the dealers I have seen sell 512K as the standard configuration. In any case, it is a lot cheaper to produce a standard 512K machine rather than a add-on machine; you save parts costs, RF shielding, edge-connector, etc. I think, however, the standard config for the 68010 machine will be 2 meg (don't quote me on that.)
