X-VMS-Mail-To: APPLE FYI I noticed this bug-a-boo using the PCPI Applicard (6 MHz CP/M-80 card). I have a Rana Elite I drive, which sports w write-protect light; the drive is plugged into an Apple Disk ][ controller. If I plug the controller with the Rana drive in on a slot higher than the Applicard (e.g. disk in 6, PCPI in 3) the write-protect on the Rana goes on. Right ! BTW, PCPIers, you can plop your PCPI in slot #3, even in a //e - the ROM on the card is only there for the bootstrap and isn't in a typical place. rcs SECRIST%OAK.SAInet.MFEnet@LLL-MFE.Arpa
