Having used both the Apple Mouse and the A+ Mouse I would recommend the
A+.  It has much finer and more responsive positioning.  However it
requires the use of an aluminum graphed pad (included) for the optical
encoder.  It is thin and light and approx 10" X 8".

Also try the new mouse/joystick from kraft.  It is precise and does two
jobs at half the price of two devices.
