The program quit, and the portion of the file right before the deleted word was erased. I've looked at the source code, and have found the problem - the program thinks that it's done when an empty string is returned by one of the procedures. I'll fix it tonight and redistribute the source and uuencoded executable this evening. Thanks for pointing out the problem! Eric Bergman-Terrell
