Yesterday I discovered what is apparently already common knowledge:
that I/O redirection in the Beckmeyer shell and Lattice C do not work
together.  I called the friendly people at MetaComCo and they said that
yes, a patch exists, but no, they didn't have it.  They suggested
Compuserve.

Can some public benefactor who has access to the patch (assuming one
exists...) post it to this net?
