B2 level, and here are some questions related to the board. 1. It came with Version 1.00 DOS-73 software, which appears to work OK. Is this the most current version one can acquire ? What would later versions offer in addition to what 1.00 provides ? 2. There are two chip locations empty, M23 and M48. Does anyone know if these are important for the 8087 processor, or if their presence enhances the performance of the board ? 3. Has anyone successfully improved performance in a reliable way using an NEC V30 replacement for the 8086-2 processor ? 4. I would like to sync up with a PC 7300 users group. Would you kindly direct me toward any that you know of ? Thank you, Mike Slifcak 408 926 0862 evenings west coast time, please.
