The modem automatically comes up with the S0 register set to 1 instead of zero. Is there some simple way to default this to not-auto answer without having to send a command string to the dern thing. Its a real bear to have to disconnect the phone line when my computer is on and I'm not using the modem. --------------------------- Gregory G.
