All of our HP-UX systems have umodem (same as xmodem, I don't know why
we use the name umodem).  I have used umodem to transfer files to/from my
Mac using VersaTerm, however I prefer using kermit.

If you do not have umodem on your system contact me and I will see if I
can send you the source/binary.
