(NY, NY) Lines: 26 A group of us a PHRI have recently purchased Mac+s to use at home, and also to use as terminals at home with our Vax/UNIX system. We will also be using one at work, which will probably be used as a terminal most of the time. My question (probably dumb, but I've only owned the Mac for a week :-) is this: Is there a way to change the "Option" key into an or Meta key while doing UNIX applications? This is especially important when using EMACS, since, to get an character, you have to type "Control" "[". Since the Meta (or Escape) keystroke is fairly frequently used when editing in EMACS, it would be useful to be able to do this in one keystroke. Thanks for any help. Please send any advice by E-mail.
