Does anyone know whether it is possible to use an extension cable to move
the original Apple HD20 a few feet away from the Mac (in order to reduce
clutter and sound)?  The local dealer says this is not recommended.
On the other hand, HDs can be daisy chained in such a way that the
last one will be several feet away.
