The company in question is Warehouse Data Products. I ordered a Microsoft C compiler and a generic serial port in late August. The compiler arrived in reasonable time given that Microsoft may not have shipped them promptly. Two months later, I've yet to recieve the serial port. Several phone calls have elicited various responses including the latest which was that it would be sent out today. I'll believe it when I see it. They appear to me to have a very poorly organized bookkeeping system and/or inventory control. They also have a nasty habit of telling you they'll call you back tomorrow and not doing so. If you are thinking of ordering from them, my experience may provide some food for thought. I don't know whether all their customers get treated this way but they will get no more of my business. ---------- I myself ordered a memory board for my "toy", and received it within 4 days. It turns out that the memory board would NOT work on my machine, and they were VERY easy to deal with. They provided an RMA number and issued credit to my plastic. The best part was that since the sales person assured me that it would work, I was not charged the standard restocking fee... No complaints from me. Sam Kimery kimery@ford-wdl1 sun!wdl1!kimery
