I have seen this done on the color graphics adapter while in graphic mode. I have also seen a demonstration of this on an EGA by a program called CHARGENI. The end result of the information which I receive will be used to create a "replacement rom" for the WordMarc program. These folks' program will not operate properly on an IBM fitted with an EGA and monochrome moniter. If I am able to redifine what the characters look like, then I may be able to get WordMarc to properly display the scientific character set. Does anyone have a copy of CHARGENI in source form or some other human readable form (disassembled(?)) where I may be able to get some information on they technique that was used? Specifically I am wanting to know what registers need to be set up and what parameters need to be passed to INT 10H to get this sucker to fly... Thanx for any and all information which comes my way in advance. () Mike Mitchell ...cmcl2!lanl!myxm.UUCP myxm@lanl.ARPA
