I was interested at the time, but too busy to let myself get distracted. I should have kept all that traffic, but didn't (see, it does so pay to be a pack-rat! :-). Anyhow, recently I got Fansi-Console version 1.14 (12/27/85) from a local bulletin board, but when I un-arced the file, it had only FCONSOLE.DEV and FCONSOLE.DOC (a *huge* document, BTW!) in it. There are, according to the document, heaps of other files on the distribution diskette. The local bulletin boards don't seem to have these other files. As I'm running a Zenith Z-158 (XT clone), I'd like to give the program a good workout before I pop for it and register. Some of the missing files are probably not that germaine to my own uses (I don't use WordStar, for example), but some of them *are*. Kind souls might e-mail me suggestions (or the files!), and those who happen to have shaken the thing down on a Z-158 (supposedly fairly compatible) might share their experiences. If there's enough interest (don't imagine there is, though), I'll summarize to the net. Lastly, in the intervening 10 months since 1.14, there may well be later versions. All useful information gratefully appreciated in advance... Yoska -- ==ARPA:====================anderson@unix.macc.wisc.edu===Jess Anderson====== | (Please use ARPA if you can.)
