I have at my home site a (PC XT Clone) with which I use to communicate with a Micro-Vax at work. ======================================================================= +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Here is my delema.I have several programs stored on the Vax that I have saved from the net. They are MSDOS binary type format ( e.i. procomm241, newkey, terminal.arc). I use procomm2.2 at home and C-Kermit at work. I have not been able to download any of these file successfully yet! I see responses on the net all the time of users downloading binary files with no problems. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ======================================================================= COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME INFORMATION ON KERMIT PROTOCOL! Or maybe the problem I'm have is just configuration of the Procomm Com package. Anyway, someone in net-land knows whats going on with Procomm. It seems everyone is using it. ======================================================================= +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Please, if you've been successfull in downloading a file from the net. Or if you have used C-Kermit on a UNIX system. Please mail a message or response to my problem. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thanks in advance!
