I ran a shell script last night against my /usr/lib/news/newgroups file to
force creation of any newsgroups that weren't installed on ucat.  In my haste
to add in the new newsgroups and remove the old, I forgot to add the "-d local"
flag to the "inews -C" command and the newgroup creation messages were
sent all over the net.  This was NOT my intent. If all these groups are creat-
ed on your system, you are going to end up with a news system that keeps tel-
ling you that the ACTIVE file is too long.  If this happens to you, you might
try making a new version of inews after changing the AFSIZ define (defs.h) to a
much larger number.

Again, I am sorry for the barrage of control messages, it shall not occur
again.
