We tried to bring up a TU81 recently and found that we could read the drive ok (based on a sketchy test) but that trying to write to it produced lots of unibus errors. Going multi-user with the drive configured into the kernel proved impossible, we started getting unibus errors even when no one was accessing it (started as the /etc/rc* files ran). The fact that there is no support in MAKEDEV for the tmscp drives makes me rather suspicious. Any experiences anyone has had would be welcomed. Please reply directly to me (as well as to the list if you think interest is general); for some reason I am having a hard time getting on this list. Thanks Ted Nolan ted@braggvax.arpa
