Well, acording to my "Motorola Schottky TTL data book" truth for a
SN74LS00 is above 2.0 volts and falsehood is less than 0.8 volts.  
Between these is apathy.  Of course these values varry between logic
family and between devices.  (Anybody happen to typical values for a
buhdist? :-)
