I've noticed that Bakka Books on Queen St. is having a half-price sale
on all USED books on Friday, Oct. 31st, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
For science-fiction/fantasy readers Bakka needs no introduction: it is
Canada's largest SF specialty bookstore. Buying used books and buying
them at sale prices is a very good way to fight inflation. Just watch
out for the second-hand books that are actually MORE expensive than
brand-new reprints because of their value to collectors!
