All the advertizing you hear about the WEM is true. We here in B.C. are constantly bombarded with news clips, ads and travel info concerning the WEM. I have also seen ads for it while travelling in the states. I have been there, it is big. But as usual it is as much hype as substance. For all the stores etc. there isn't really anything there that you can't find else where. I will admit I did enjoy the killer water slides and the indoor ocean. As an interesting side comment, I once saw a cartoon in an editorial of a newspaper (can't remember which one) showing a picture of what one would consider the most outstanding feature of each of the four western provinces. For B.C. they showed mountains and the ocean, for Sask. they showed wheat fields, for Man. they showed lakes, and for Alta. they showed the WEM. Kim Dotto New Media Tech.
